We are passionate about supporting women who have full plates. Whether that is dealing with changing hormones, the mental load, parenthood, caring responsibilities, post partum depression, relationship challenges, potentially late ADHD diagnosis, and questioning what they want from their career. This is a day to step out of constant doing, reconnect with yourself, and leave with simple, sustainable tools you can take back into everyday life. 

If you’re feeling a bit frazzled round the edges, stressed, overwhelmed, or simply in need some you time and space to breathe, this day offers gentle, practical support to help you feel calmer, clearer, and more resourced as you return back to the real world.

Held in the peaceful surroundings of The Gathering Fields, the day includes a set of sessions that take a holistic view of us as people. We'll weave in information on sleep, nutrition, mindful movement, and nature-based practices. Coaching-based reflections will help us to explore unhelpful assumptions, thoughts and beliefs and find more compassionate perspectives which help us be kinder to ourselves which, in turn, can support emotional regulation.

This is a spacious, supportive and pressure-free day among other like-minded women who get it. All practices are gentle, optional, and adaptable.

We hope by the end of the day you will feel more peaceful, empowered and more able to deal with the challenges of daily life.

Agenda

All activities are optional, with encouragement to listen to your body and take breaks whenever you need. The intention is for you to leave feeling rested, restored, and recharged.

The day will be led by Nicki Marsden and Roisin Passenger. Nicki is a mindset and career coach helping women to overcome internal barriers to create more fulfilment in their lives. Roisin is a qualified physiotherapist, wellness coach and Pilates instructor supporting women with their physical health and wellbeing to create positive impacts on their mood.

  • 09.45 – Arrival, welcome
    Settle in, light refreshments, settle in ready to start at 10.00.

  • 10:00 – Grounding & intention setting
    Introductions and gentle guided meditation to arrive, regulate the nervous system, and set intentions.

  • 10.30 – Thoughts, beliefs & emotional load
    Coaching-based reflection to explore unhelpful assumptions, thoughts and beliefs and find more compassionate perspectives that help us to ease pressure on ourselves. Gentle mindful meditation to finish

    BREAK 10 mins

  • 11:40 – Nutrition, gut health & mood
    Understanding the role of nutrition and gut health in energy, emotional wellbeing, and resilience.

  • 12:30 – Lunch & rest
    Unhurried time to eat, rest, and enjoy the surroundings.

  • 13:15 – Nature-based mindfulness
    A slow, sensory nature walk followed by a creative nature mandala practice to reflect on thoughts and emotions. Gratitude practice.

  • 14:00 – Mindful movement (gentle Pilates)
    A gentle, accessible session focused on breath, posture, and body awareness to ease tension and support joint health.

  • 14:30 – Sleep & nervous system support
    Practical insights into sleep hygiene, calming the body and mind, and supporting deeper rest.

  • 15:00 – Space for reflection
    Journaling, reflection, and feedback on your insights from the day.

  • 15:30 – Guided meditation
    A seated guided meditation to gently close the day - intention setting moving forward.

  • 16:00 – Close
    Leave feeling calmer, clearer, and more resourced.

Due to people’s different preferences and dietary requirements, you are welcome to bring your own snacks for the day, and your own lunch.

If you would like lunch to be provided, this is likely to be a vegetarian soup or veggie chilli made with homegrown vegetables on site at an additional cost.
